The Sweetwater Golf Course Homeowners Association (SGCHA) Annual Meeting will be held on the 12th of June, 2010. It will be held at the Ideal Beach Resort Reunion Center Building, located at 2176 South Bear Lake Blvd., in Garden City, Utah. Phone # (435 -946-3364) or (1-800-634-1018). The Meeting will start at 12:00, Noon, with a Pot Luck lunch. So if each Association Member coming to the meeting will bring a casserole dish or a salad or a desert and the Association will provide the drink and paper ware. The business Meeting will follow, beginning at 1:00 PM., and conclude by 4:00 PM.
Three Board Members three year term expires this June. They are: Gene Merrick, Mark Chugg and Jim Roberts. Any members of the SGCHA, in good standing, who would like to submit their name for a Board position on the Governing Board, may do so by giving written notice to Lane Peterson our CPA, or Mark Chugg, President of the SGCHA, by the 1st day in May, 2010. In your application give us a little back ground on what you would bring to the Board and why you’re seeking that position. The commitments for the Board Members are: to attendance at least (4) Board Meeting each year; take on an assignment in one of the areas in support of the Association; and be in attendance at the Annual Meeting. If there are more than (3) Member running for the three open positions there will be an election held at the annual Meeting. No nomination for Board position will be accepted at the Annual Meeting.
Just a reminder, if you have not paid your Annual Homeowners fees, please do so by March 31st.
This letter will be the only written communication with the Association this year. All other communication will be posted on our Web Site which is (www.sgcha.com). We encourage everyone to use this site frequently for all communications. Contact information for all Board Members can be found at this site. The By-Laws, CC&R’s and Building Application are located on the web site.
